Where to Find Friday Brain Building Club
Friday Brain Building Club may arrive in our subscribers' inboxes every Friday morning, but increasingly, you can find us out in the real world too.
Since launching FBBC in July, one of the loveliest parts of building the business has been seeing our activity sheets make their way into local bookshops — putting fun, screen-free learning directly into the hands of children and families.

These wonderful bookshops are helping us distribute complimentary Friday Brain Building Club activity sheets to families alongside book purchases, giving children something extra to take home, explore and enjoy.
For me, bookshops feel like a particularly natural home for FBBC. They're places built around curiosity, discovery and a love of learning — all things that sit at the heart of what we're trying to create.
More than just puzzles
Every Friday Brain Building Club sheet combines literacy, numeracy, verbal reasoning, logic and problem-solving for children aged 7–11.
Children might discover a new Word of the Week, solve a riddle, crack a code, tackle a Number Tower or work their way through a logic problem. The activities vary each week, but the aim is always the same: to get children thinking and learning in a way that feels enjoyable rather than like extra homework.
Literacy is an especially important part of our mission. Alongside our support for the National Literacy Trust, we want to encourage children to enjoy words, reading, language and learning in all sorts of everyday settings.
So being able to work with independent bookshops that already do so much to nurture a love of books and reading feels like a perfect fit.
Reaching more children
An important part of the FBBC mission is making our activities accessible to as many children as possible.
That's why we'll always provide FBBC sheets to participating bookshops and other community venues completely free of charge. There's no cost to the venue and no expectation for families to subscribe — the aim is simply to get more fun, high-quality learning activities into children's hands.
Our subscribers make it possible for FBBC to grow, but I also want that growth to help us reach families beyond our subscriber community. As FBBC grows, I hope we'll be able to give away more and more sheets in more places.
